The Italian soprano Marta Brivio was born in Merate (LC).
Passionately fond of music, she started singing pop and jazz and finally devoted herself entirely to opera.
She studied music at the International Accademy "Villa Simonetta" in Milan.
While still a student, she was choir member of the AsliCo Lyric Association at the "Nuovo Piccolo Teatro G. Strehler" in Milan, at La Scala Theatre in Milan, at the ?Op�ra de Rouen? in France, at the Festival Castell de Peralada and at the Festival International de Santander in Spain.
Then she took part in Master Classes given by Francesca Patanè, Bonaldo Giaiotti, Fiorenza Cedolins, Luciana Serra, Enzo Dara, Claudio Desderi, Mietta Sighele e Veriano Lucchetti.
She is winner of the first prize at the International Competition 'Cav. Davide Vognolo', Savona, and she is finalist at the International Competition 'Nicolò Piccinni', Bari (president soprano Magda Olivero), 'Città di Ferrara', Ferrara (president tenor Daniele Barioni), 'G. Martinelli - A. Pertile', Montagnana (president mezzo-soprano Bruna Baglioni).
